Problem Statement
Rouse Analytics aggregates and maintains a large data set of heavy equipment rental and fleet utilization rates of heavy equipment for companies like Hertz, Blueline, Caterpillar, and others. In the process, they establish valuable industry rental and fleet utilization benchmarks that are used by these leasing companies in order to optimize their equipment rental rates based location, region, and other criteria. All this information is sold and delivered to their customers on a sophisticated and interactive graphical spreadsheet application. The problem is that the spreadsheet application is difficult to maintain and is subject to localized incompatibilities with the client’s computer.
Solution
Developed a web based application that standardizes the delivery of this information and integrates with Microsoft SQL Server database.
